IEC Provides Support for the Texas Petrochemical Power Generation Facility

Sacramento, Calif., December 31, 2007 – IEC Corporation assisted Navigant Consulting in its support of the proposed Texas Petrochemical Power Generation Facility. IEC was tasked with preparing preliminary site layouts for the proposed gas turbine power plant facility, which is expected to be located at the current facility and is currently permitted for 400 MW. The Texas Petrochemical Corporation (TPC) was interested in evaluating various gas turbine configurations that would fit the available real estate within the facility. IEC prepared layouts for three different configurations. Layouts were overlaid on the Texas Petrochemical Plot Plan and arranged to fit within the available space requirements and comply with industry standards and vendor spacing requirements for operations and maintenance.
