![]() IEC Provides Engineering Services for Clean Energy Systems Sacramento, Calif., May 20, 2008 – IEC Corporation recently provided project management and project engineering for the Clean Energy System’s 80 MW Kimberlina thermal test facility that utilizes high temperature engine technology to produce steam for power generation. IEC managed the site modification design that included adding new structural steel piperacks, new process piping (including high pressure steam, feedwater, cooling water, natural gas, and oxygen), new foundations, new exhaust ducting, modifications to existing equipment, and modifications to existing 480V electrical equipment, instrumentation, and controls. IEC provided detailed electrical, controls, mechanical, and structural drawings, calculations, and specifications. The company is now providing field support for the project.
