IEC to Provide Engineering Support for Avista’s Wind Turbine Procurement Process

Portland, Ore., August 3, 2009 – IEC Corporation was retained by Avista Corporation to support the Reardan Wind Project outside of Spokane, Washington. To assist Avista in its wind turbine generator (WTG) procurement process, IEC will assist the company in developing a comprehensive data request document for inclusion with Avista’s Request for Offers from WTG manufacturers and will also develop the Request for Proposal (RFP) for firm bids for WTG supply and warranty. In addition, IEC will provide proposal evaluation support to review manufacturer proposals and advise Avista on the strengths and weaknesses of each offering.
