SMUD Extends IEC's Contract to Provide Photovoltaic and Technical Training Services

Sacramento, Calif., August 3, 2009 – The Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) has extended IEC Corporation’s contract for two additional years so that the company can continue to provide photovoltaic (PV) and technical training services for the utility. SMUD requested this extension of the original two-year contract to maintain the ongoing PV system support provided by IEC. Services range from technical engineering services to business consulting services, including product/system designs, project management, training, inspection, troubleshooting and repair services, documentation, technical writing, and financial analyses.
