Bonneville Power Administration Awards IEC with A&E Contract

Portland, Ore., August 7, 2009 – The Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) awarded IEC with a two-year contract to provide Architect & Engineering (A&E) Services for the agency. The purpose of the contract is to provide BPA with A&E services required for the engineering and design of electrical, electronic, and incidental non-electric features of substation, transmission line, and control center facilities. BPA is headquartered in Portland, Oregon, and has power system facilities throughout its service area covering Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Western Montana, and some adjacent parts of California, Nevada, and Wyoming. IEC Corporation will be providing services for various BPA facilities, including power system substations, transmission, control systems/energy management systems, and telecommunications.
