IEC Providing Engineering Support for the Corus Power Plant Project

Sacramento, Calif., August 19, 2009 – IEC is providing preliminary engineering support services to Clean Energy Systems (CES) for its Corus Power Plant Project. The scope of work includes preparing the first phase of preliminary engineering documents required for permitting and overall project development. Specific work includes preparation of process flow diagrams, preliminary major mechanical and electrical equipment lists, procurement specifications for major equipment, a site general arrangement drawing, and a project/facility description. IEC engineers will produce a project heat and mass balance diagram for all fluid streams and perform a plant electrical auxiliary load study. IEC will also support CES in the development of a budgetary cost estimate by providing cost estimates for detailed design and major equipment.
