IEC Providing Electrical System Design for PV Curtain Wall System Demonstration Project

Sacramento, Calif., August 30, 2009 – IEC is providing electrical system design for a PV Curtain Wall System demonstration project. IEC is providing plans specifically designed for interconnecting three separate demonstration system PV panel sets and associated inverters to the building AC electrical system. Two of the demonstration systems will be designed using micro inverter technology, and one will utilize a conventional single inverter. In addition to electrical system design support, IEC will provide a recommended supplier list for major equipment and provide site inspection and technical assistance during installation, connection, and startup of the PV system electrical components.
