IEC Portland Recycle at Work Certified

Portland, Ore., November 20, 2009 – IEC Corporation has earned the City of Portland’s Recycle at Work Certification for its comprehensive office recycling program. The Portland City Council recently adopted a new goal of a 75 percent business recycling rate by 2015. Portland businesses now recycle 63 percent of all waste produced. The Recycle at Work program is managed by the City of Portland Bureau of Planning and Sustainability. The Recycle at Work Certification shows IEC’s commitment to sustainability, in the power sector and beyond.
