The SPRINT skid will require a foundation, de-mineralized (DI) water supply and return piping, instrument air piping, drain piping, electrical power, control wiring, and grounding. In addition, this upgrade will impose additional DI water demands that may require upgrading the onsite DI water system, including the treatment plant and raw water system. IEC will evaluate the existing DI water treatment and distribution system and determine if it needs to be upgraded to support the increased DI water demand and also evaluate the existing raw water supply interconnection. IEC’s engineers will provide a report documenting findings and recommendations to satisfy the future DI water demand from the LM6000 PC SPRINT combined cycle unit and peaker plant. IEC will then provide design and bid support for the construction phase. |
