KRCD Peaking Plant

Navigant Consulting, Inc, the prime owner’s engineer to the Kings County Irrigation District (KRCD), called on the expertise of IEC Corporation to develop an EPC Technical Specification for the 97 MW KRCD Peaking Plant. The KRCD Peaking Plant, consisting of two GE LM6000 Sprint units in simple cycle, was designed and constructed by an EPC contractor in accordance with the conceptual design and technical specifications developed by IEC.
