TPC Power Plant Layouts

CLIENT: Texas Petrochemical Corporation

LOCATION: Texas

IEC prepared preliminary site layouts for a proposed gas turbine power plant facility. The power plant is expected to be located at the Texas Petrochemical Plant and is currently permitted for 400 MW.

The Texas Petrochemical Corporation was interested in evaluating various gas turbine configurations that would fit the available real estate within the facility. IEC prepared detailed layouts for the following configurations:

1. GE Frame 7FA Steam Plant (no steam turbine)

2. GE LM6000 PC Sprint Steam Plant (no steam turbine)

3. GE Frame 7FA Combined Cycle

Layouts were overlaid on the Texas Petrochemical Plot Plan and arranged to fit within the available space requirements and comply with industry standards and vendor spacing requirements for operations and maintenance.
