IEC developed the conceptual design, performed all preliminary engineering, and provided detailed design for a 46MW LM6000PC peaking plant on an undeveloped land site. Tasks included developing the site layout, specifying plant equipment, and determining air and water parameters for environmental permits. Water use requirements included the design of a Zero Liquid Discharge Reverse Osmosis system using the combination of microfi ltration and evaporation ponds. The plant was also designed to include a state-of-the-art chemical-free cooling tower.
