IEC Corporation recently completed engineering services to provide detail design for the Modesto Irrigation District's 12th Street Substation. The objective of this project was to remove, redesign and replace existing equipment and foundations at the 12th Street Substation. IEC was responsible for providing demolition drawings and design, arrangement, layouts, specifications, diagrams, plans, and details for replacement of the 12kV main and transfer bus structure, 69kV and 12kV bus routing, breakers, PTs, protection scheme, and control building.
