IEC Corporation provided professional engineering services in support of the La Luz Energy Center Project (LLEC). This project consisted of the installation of an LM6000 PC SPRINT in simple cycle configuration on behalf of Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM). The site of the project is located in a rural area adjacent to the PNM Belen Reactor Station/Belen Substation in Belen, New Mexico. Generation stepped up from 13.8KV to 115KV and passed‐thru to PNM’s Belen substation, via approximately 500 ft of overhead transmission line. IEC also provided project document control as part of the contractors on the PEPC team (Permit, Engineer, Procure, and Construct).
