Roseville Energy Park Electric Boiler Study

IEC performed a study to evaluate the feasibility and benefits of adding an auxiliary electric boiler system as part of the Master Service Agreement (MSA) for engineering and design support for the Roseville Energy Park from Roseville Electric.

CLIENT:

ROSEVILLE ELECTRIC UTILITY

Roseville Electric Utility owns and operates the Roseville Energy Park consisting of a 2X1 combined cycle gas turbine facility. Under the Master Service Agreement (MSA) for engineering and design support for the Roseville Energy Park (REP), IEC performed a study to evaluate the feasibility and benefits of adding an auxiliary electric boiler system. The new electric boiler system will provide an increase in plant reliability, quick and flexible operations, and better thermal cycling. The study identified monetary benefits, startup time reduction, operational performance, cost estimate and schedule. The client was able to make an informative decision on the benefits and payback of installing an auxiliary electric boiler system.
