Roseville Turbine Inlet Chiller Study

IEC conducted an evaluation of installing a mechanical chiller system for two (2) Siemens SGT-800 CTGS units at Roseville Energy Park as part of the Master Service Agreement (MSA) for engineering and design support.

CLIENT:

ROSEVILLE ELECTRIC UTILITY

Roseville Electric Utility owns and operates the Roseville Energy Park consisting of a 2X1 combined cycle gas turbine facility. IEC conducted an evaluation for installing a mechanical chiller system for two (2) Siemens SGT-800 CTGS units at Roseville Energy Park. As part of the evaluation, IEC created preliminary general arrangement with a proposed chiller system that best fit the Siemens units. IEC also provided a summary of overall plant performance gain with chiller operations during the summer season based on the expected increased output. In addition, IEC prepared a project schedule and budget to fully install the mechanical chiller system.
