IEC was contracted to conduct a Net Dependable Capacity (NDC) test for two (2) gas fired power plant facilities (SCA and CVFA) owned and operated by the Sacramento Municipal Utility District. Prior to conducting each test, IEC prepared a detailed pre-test checklist and a step by step testing procedure. Each test was conducted under IEC’s supervision using the written checklist and detail procedures. Upon completion, IEC prepared correction calculations to contractual guaranteed ambient conditions using our GateCycle thermal model. The results were presented in a final report to SMUD for operational dispatching purposes.
