The Procter & Gamble Cogeneration Plant, also referred to as the SCA Cogen II, was designed to be part of the Sacramento Municipal Utility District’s response to the closing of the nuclear generating station at Rancho Seco. The 120MW power plant, located adjacent to the Procter & Gamble Manufacturing Facility in Sacramento, California, is powered by GE LM6000 CTGs in a combined cycle configuration. IEC was contracted to provide performance testing and to perform field engineering and inspections throughout the construction process for the new plant.
