IEC conducted a feasibility study for the Evolutions Plaza Building being developed by Tulare District Hospital in Tulare, CA. Evolutions Plaza is a commercial building housing retail shops and a fitness center. The study evaluated the feasibility of using two natural gas, lean-burn reciprocating engines to create electricity with cogeneration heat used for heating swimming pools in the facility. The reciprocating engines referenced were high efficiency, low emission models designed for continuous duty. IEC evaluated all equipment and services necessary to provide a turnkey package including switchgear, heat exchangers, emission reduction equipment, enclosures, site layout, utility routing, and interconnection.
